Monday 01-07-2024

Lamin Yamal, a player for FC Barcelona and the Spanish national team,  contributed to his country's victory over the Georgia national team by four goals to one, so that the Spanish national team qualified for the quarter-finals of the tournament to face the German national team in an early final.

According to what was reported by the Opta statistics network, Lamine Yamal equaled a distinguished record for Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, becoming the first young player to score at least two goals in one edition of the European Nations Cup.

Cristiano Ronaldo had made two goals in Euro 2004 when he was a young player with the Portuguese national team and reached the final with his country, which lost the final to Greece.
