Belgian winger Jeremy Doku acknowledged the great influence that Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola had on his development as a player.

He praised the 22-year-old, who was an outstanding player. In the Belgian national team, he achieved a successful first season in the English Premier League with City, with Guardiola’s intensity and passion for the game.

The Belgian winger said: “Thanks to City, I know more about football, Now I play with better players, and I play against better teams, and this is what has changed me. I have learned a lot from the good moments and the difficult moments.”

Doku added, thinking about the style Guardiola's training: "Pep is a very strong coach. He has a lot of passion. He strives for perfection.
