Press reports said that Arsenal is competing with Barcelona to sign Spanish midfielder Mikel Moreno. 

The Gunners are looking to add a midfielder to their squad this summer and have identified Moreno, whose contract with Real Sociedad expires in 2025, as a main target.

Coach Mikel Arteta is said to be impressed by Moreno's skill set and is personally involved in the pursuit of the player.

While Arsenal are actively exploring a potential deal, They face competition from Barcelona and their new coach Hansi Flick, who are monitoring the situation closely.

Real Sociedad estimates Moreno's value at around 25 million euros, an amount Arsenal can afford, but Barcelona may find it difficult to meet the asking price.
