David Ancelotti, the coach of Lille, has confirmed that striker Olivier Giroud is ready to participate in the match against Arsenal, scheduled for the evening of Tuesday, October 13, in the UEFA Champions League at the Emirates Stadium in London.

Carlo Ancelotti, in statements reported by "Sky Sports", said that his team is striving to achieve a positive result in the European competition, despite the difficulty of the task against Arsenal. He explained: "I have faced Arsenal in different ways, but every team tries to maintain its identity. We have our own style, and we will seek to exploit our strengths in the best possible way under these difficult circumstances."

The Italian coach explained that results have started to improve in the league, pointing out that the team is still working on enhancing the understanding among its members and establishing its identity. He added: "In the UEFA Champions League, we unfortunately started with a loss, but the journey is still long, and our goal is to deliver the best possible performance."

Regarding the possibility of Olivier Giroud starting against his former team Arsenal, Ancelotti said: "He is always excited and ready to help the team, whether he starts the match or comes off the bench. I know it will be a special match for him, against a club he has strong feelings for, and I hope it will be a wonderful night for him, and for me as well."

Lille's coach spoke about Arsenal's European journey against Real Madrid, the team previously managed by his father Carlo Ancelotti, praising the development of the English club. He stated that winning that encounter gave Arsenal the confidence to reach the final, adding that the club's project represents a model of stability and continuity, before confirming that his team will do their utmost against their opponent.

Ancelotti reminisced about his time with Brazilians Bruno Guimarães and Gabriel, highlighting their wonderful experience during the World Cup, despite the short duration, and noted that the bond between them remains strong.
