Rafik Bougallal joins Torino until 2030

Torino have officially completed the signing of Algerian international Rafiq Belghali from Hellas Verona. The Algerian defender begins a new chapter in his career in Serie A.

Bologna's transfer to Torino has been finalized, with the Italian club securing the deal for around €7 million. Additionally, Hellas Verona will retain 10% of the player's future resale value, while the new contract extends until June 2030.

Hellas Verona have announced the departure of Belhadi this morning, sending a farewell message to the player and wishing him success in the next stage of his career, after a standout season where he delivered good performances in Serie A.

Bougherra has joined Hellas Verona in the summer of 2025 from Belgian side Michelin, having played 26 matches in Serie A last season, during which he scored two goals, before catching the attention of several clubs both in Italy and abroad.

The Algerian defender has excelled not only at the club level but also with the national team, participating in the FIFA World Cup 2026, thus continuing to solidify his place among the options for the "Greens."

The signing with Torino marks a new chapter in Belghali's career, having quickly transitioned from Belgian football to Serie A, then reaching the Algerian national team, before now taking on a new challenge with the Italian club until the summer of 2030.
