Al Ahli has secured their passage to the Round of 16 of the King Cup after defeating Al Anwar 2-1 on Monday evening in the Round of 32.

Al-Ahli needed 61 minutes to break the deadlock, as Edward Spiritsian found the back of the net against Al-Anwar, giving his team a crucial advantage in the match.

Al Ahly strengthened their lead just one minute before the end, when Galeno scored the second goal in the 89th minute, bringing the team closer to officially securing qualification.

Al-Anwar refused to give up until the final moments, and Reda Ben Sayeh managed to reduce the deficit during stoppage time, scoring his team's goal in the 90+2 minute.

Al Ahly maintained their lead during the remaining minutes to emerge victorious with a score of 2-1, securing their place in the Round of 16 of the King Cup.

Al-Raqi continues their perfect start to the season, achieving their second consecutive victory after defeating Al-Dhariyah 1-0 in the first round of the Saudi Roshan League.
